From Our Chapter President
Greetings from the distinguished women of the Suffolk County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, which is located in Suffolk County, Long Island (NY) and the historic Eastern Region of our beloved Sorority. Suffolk County Alumnae Chapter has developed a rich history since our chartering on April 23, 1989. Our chapter consists of approximately sixty professional, energetic women who remain steadfast and devoted to the vision, mission and principles of the Sorority.
The members of Suffolk County Alumnae Chapter are dedicated to providing public service initiatives centered on our Five-Point Programmatic Thrust:

International Awareness & Involvement
Physical & Mental Health
Political Awareness & Involvement
We invite you to take a tour through our website and learn about the diverse community service programs that we provide to the citizens of Suffolk County. Empowering our youth to succeed in their educational endeavors is paramount and we are proud to announce that Suffolk County Alumnae Chapter awards progressive scholarships as well as incentives awards to graduating high school seniors. In addition, we have a thriving Delta GEMS program for young women and the EMBODI program for our young men. Please visit the program section to learn more about our programs.
We are also pleased with our accomplishments over the years which include the 2011 Project SHAPE for DST Eastern Region and the 2007 Small Chapter of the Year Award for the Eastern Region of Delta Sigma Theta. Still our great reward is manifested in the lives that are improved by our efforts.
